Sentry Podcast with Hector Garcia!

Interview with Hector Garcia, who portrayed the Battery Sergeant in The Alamo (2004).
This was Alamo Sentry’s 2nd podcast. At a duration of 50:20 minutes, Hector Garcia tells us everything about his role and his experience on the set. From stories about his character’s involvement with the young soldado Jesus, several deleted scenes, and the execution of David Crockett! It’s an amazing interview and it was a pleasure to conduct it with him.
This will be the final podcast for this year’s summer series. Next summer, Mike Boldt, Alamo composer and historian, will join me as co-host. Otherwise, the interviews will continue for all to read and enjoy! Stay tuned!

September Alamo Journal

Issue #150 of The Alamo Journal, the official publication of The Alamo Society, features:
Sentry Podcast with Mauricio Zatarain!

Interview with the actor who portrayed Colonel Jose Batres in The Alamo (2004).
This was Alamo Sentry’s first podcast. Running at 38:28 minutes, there’s no doubt that Mauricio Zatarain’s experience was greatly entertaining to listen to and talk about. It was a pleasure to speak with him and I thank him for taking the time to conduct the interview with me!
I will keep everyone posted on Alamo Sentry’s next podcast as my co-host Mike Boldt will join me to interview other cast members from the 2004 film!
Enjoy!
The Alamo Sentry Theme Song!

Keith Kubena, resident of San Antonio, Texas, has composed and recorded the theme song for Alamo Sentry! Lending his talents as a Spanish and classical guitarist, Keith provides a stirring and somber piece appropriately titled The Alamo Song. It runs at 3:49 minutes.
The track will play on a widget throughout certain pages on Alamo Sentry, especially the interview pages. And if all goes according to plan, Kubena’s The Alamo Song will be attached to Alamo Sentry’s future podcast series.
