Raise some Ale!

Alamo Beer

Commander of the Alamo Brand-San Antonio, Tx March 6, 2005–

To the People of Texas &

all Americans in the world–

Fellow citizens & compatriots–we are besieged by a thousand or more non-Texian brews and have sustained a continual bombardment of their advertising for the last 100 years. The evil-brewers are counting on our surrender. I have answered with a cannon shot of my own by creating a smooth and refreshing golden ale brewed locally with a fiercely independent spirit. Our flag still waves proudly from the walls of the brewery — I shall never surrender or retreat. I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character (especially beer), to come to our aid, with all dispatch — The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & go down fighting.

P.S. Texas is on our side –

When we first engaged the enemy,

Alamo was only available on draught.

We have since added reinforcements and are now bottling our fine brew and enjoying brisk sales in various supermarkets thanks to numerous intrepid volunteers.

Alamo Golden Ale is only available in San Antonio, Texas but will be available statewide sometime next year! It’s San Antone’s only locally owned beer and has become a favorite among Alamo buffs and enthusiasts alike when visiting the famous city.
