Correspondent:
Dale currently lives in Austin, Tejas, and works in Texas’ Homeland Security program, but he grew up in San Antonio. One of his favorite summer jobs was at the Alamo for a now defunct business called the “Remember the Alamo Theater and Museum” which for its time was quite cutting edge. In 2003, Dale fulfilled a long time dream when he became a background extra in the latest Alamo movie released in 2004. Even though he shows up on screen for only 4.5 seconds, the memories and friends he made from the experience will last forever. In the guise of Valerojoe, Dale is a member of both thealamofilm.com and Alamo Sentry.

Writer :
Jeffrey Dane hails from New York City. He has two primary interests: the history, literature and materials of music (with a focus on the 19th century), and the history, literature, and materials of the American West (with a focus on 1830s Texas). He researches and writes with equal gusto about both. His favorite city in Europe is Vienna, Austria. His favorite city in the USA is San Antonio de Bexar; his favorite place in Bexar is the Alamo; and his personal favorites among places at the Alamo are the DRT library, and the perch.

Book Review:
Sarah is a sophomore in high school in Arlington, Texas. She’s a native Virginian, but considers herself to be a Texan at heart. She has been in love with Texas, it’s history, and the Alamo since March of ‘06. Her current focus concerning the Alamo, however, is William Barret Travis: her favorite of the holy trinity. Sarah is also very fond of cats, Japanese culture (and language), westerns, astrology, drawing, writing, and socializing with friends. Sarah is a member of Alamo Sentry and thealamofilm.com.
